Hahaha.... just a very bo liao entry, a bit 自恋 i know.. hahaha...

But just want to congratulate myself for living 30 great years and

beliving that the next 30 years are going to be glorious!

The thing about love

The thing about loving someone, means to give them a surprise when they least expect it.

And i have a few lovely surprises from my love ones over the weekend.

Surprise # 1: Although my dear hubby has been complaining about my iphone and kept bugging me to change my phone, i told him i will wait till my contract with Singtel is up and ready to recontract, which is at Dec 2011. So last friday night, after i have put baby justin to bed after a long day, i was presented with a huge surprise, which i nearly died.

So duber happy!! And my 老公 actually signed a new line just to get this phone for me. :-)

Surprise (2): The 刚 celebrated my bday on sat, started with a pedi session followed by a sumptious dinner @ egg3 cafe. Photos to follow later. But what surprised me most was the personalised gifts from them, on top of the group gift. They each personalised a gift of 30 lines.

是美的咯！

超感动！

Surprise #3: The cg celebrated my birthday last friday and I was very touched by their individual birthday speeches. These are the sheeps that God has placed in my hands and I always feel that I have a personal responsibility to each and every single one of them. And I am once again, amazed by their generosity once again, when i opened up the gift and saw the amount of the vouchers that they bought for me. Thanks my dears, every single one of you who contributed to my gift. =))

So now, together with the gang's gift, i have enough to buy a pair of jeans and a nice tee! :D

Baby turning one soon

in less than a month's time, my baby is turning one year old! Time really flies and it just seems like yesterday that he came into this world. There are times that i really would wish that he still was a small little baby, so that it is so much easier to take care of him. Now, he is crawling all over the place and touches every single thing. And plus the fact that at this stage, they don't take any words with these prefixes: 'no", "wait" or "don't" in mind at all. In fact, the more we parents say cannot, the more and faster he go and do it. Sigh.

But don't get me wrong. Not complaining about this small one at all. The naughty times probably account for like 30% of the time, and the remaining 70%, he always do funny actions that make me laugh and kinda destress me from a long day at work. So there are also times where i wish, i can be a SAHM, so that i can be with him to witness all his little milestones.

Anyway, in another 3 weeks' time, the little one is going to turn one. i always wanted to start planning for his bday bash, but august and sept were 2 super busy months, cos new job, new house, etc etc... and before i realise it, its already Oct!! OMG! Better start soon!

The thing is, my son does not have one special cartoon character that he likes, so a bit hard to plan for a theme party for him also. Guess it will be a mummy's picked theme for this year. Maybe by his second birthday, he will even want to pick his own theme.

Plan out the timeline and been surfing for ideas. Targetting to send out the invites by end of next week. Must try to get things done by this week liaoz... Hope gt time , cos dad is hospitalised this week due to a minor heart attack, which caught all of us off guard. Well, long story and thats going to b a separate entry altogether. So God, give me lots of strength this week, to sustain the long week ahead.

And i must say, he only learn it like less than 10 times and he is doing it as though he been doing it for months! =p

Curious Justin

Justin is at the stage where he is ever curious about every thing and anything. Any slightest sound or movement, he turns his head immediately. So nothing runs from his eyes. Haha.

Now that we have moved into our new place @ strathmore, he got much more space and room to crawl around. So these days, the moment we placed him on the floor, he will be all over the place, crawling and holding on to any furniture that he can lay his hands on, learning to crusie around.

And because of that, he also have numerous falls.

The most severe one was yesterday while daddy and mummy was out for dinner.

He fell backwards and had a big ba-lu-ku that swell up almost immediately. Grandma and grandpa got so worried and almost sent him to A&E. Thank God the swell went down after putting the ice-pack on his back-head for about 20 mins plus some rubbing.

Last night we found that the back of the head seem to have an unusual swell. Going to bring him back to the PD tonight. Pray that its no big issue and no complications. If you could, please say a little prayer for him yah?
