in less than a month's time, my baby is turning one year old! Time really flies and it just seems like yesterday that he came into this world. There are times that i really would wish that he still was a small little baby, so that it is so much easier to take care of him. Now, he is crawling all over the place and touches every single thing. And plus the fact that at this stage, they don't take any words with these prefixes: 'no", "wait" or "don't" in mind at all. In fact, the more we parents say cannot, the more and faster he go and do it. Sigh.
But don't get me wrong. Not complaining about this small one at all. The naughty times probably account for like 30% of the time, and the remaining 70%, he always do funny actions that make me laugh and kinda destress me from a long day at work. So there are also times where i wish, i can be a SAHM, so that i can be with him to witness all his little milestones.
Anyway, in another 3 weeks' time, the little one is going to turn one. i always wanted to start planning for his bday bash, but august and sept were 2 super busy months, cos new job, new house, etc etc... and before i realise it, its already Oct!! OMG! Better start soon!
The thing is, my son does not have one special cartoon character that he likes, so a bit hard to plan for a theme party for him also. Guess it will be a mummy's picked theme for this year. Maybe by his second birthday, he will even want to pick his own theme.
Plan out the timeline and been surfing for ideas. Targetting to send out the invites by end of next week. Must try to get things done by this week liaoz... Hope gt time , cos dad is hospitalised this week due to a minor heart attack, which caught all of us off guard. Well, long story and thats going to b a separate entry altogether. So God, give me lots of strength this week, to sustain the long week ahead.
